2024 Nissan Titan Review: Prices, Specs, and Photos

What kind of vehicle is the 2024 Nissan Titan? What does it compare to?

Nissan’s 2024 Titan is a full-size truck that competes with pickups like the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Ford F-150, Toyota Tundra, and Ram 1500.

Is the 2024 Nissan Titan a good truck?

Among full-size pickups, it’s not our favorite, but we do like its powerful V-8. With a limited powertrain lineup, a middling interior, and awkward styling, it’s a 5 on the TCC Scale. (Read more about how we rate cars.)

What’s new for the 2024 Nissan Titan?

Nissan drops the base S trim and starts at the SV, which raises the price of entry considerably but also presents a much better truck. There’s also a new SV Bronze Edition package, which for $2,980 adds black and bronze styling elements, bronze 20-inch wheels, and some other visual upgrades.

Nissan offers the Titan in typical extended-cab and crew-cab configurations, and in a long-bed, crew-cab XD model with better hauling capability. All feature 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque from a 5.6-liter V-8 engine paired with a smooth 9-speed automatic transmission. Rear-drive comes standard and four-wheel drive is available and standard on XD. This part-time system is less versatile than rivals’ systems and shouldn’t be used on dry pavement. The V-8 is powerful and sounds great, but chugs fuel to the tune of 18 mpg combined.

The Titan is most popular in crew-cab configuration, which features plenty of space, comfortable seats, and user-friendly technology. An 8.0-inch touchscreen comes standard and a 9.0-inch touchscreen is available. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is standard across the line, with Apple CarPlay available wireless in top trims.

The cabins fall short of rival offerings in terms of design and materials, however.

Nissan equips every Titan with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, and lane-departure warnings, but crash-testing yields mixed results.

How much does the 2024 Nissan Titan cost?

This year, the lineup starts with the rear-wheel drive SV Crew Cab model, which comes to $47,665 after the $1,895 destination charge. The four-wheel drive SV Crew Cab costs $50,885. There are more versions, but we’d stop there.

Where is the 2024 Nissan Titan made?

Canton, Mississippi.
