This fully autonomous airbag system makes use of 12 integrated sensors that will activate inflation within 44 milliseconds of detecting a crash scenario. This system has been shown to reduce impact force by up to 90 percent when compared to typical CE Level 1 protectors.

The 7x provides protection to the upper body, including the shoulders, chest, and back. It is designed to be worn under any race suit or jacket with enough space to allow for inflation and features a generous ventilation system to ensure breathability.

The 7x turns on when the magnetic closure flaps are secured and the system deactivates when they’re opened. It features two different ride modes, one for race scenarios and one for road riding. It also features a dual-deployment design, meaning riders can get two airbag inflations before recharging the rapid gas inflator. The system is designed to activate four airbag deployments before it needs to be serviced.

The Bluetooth-enabled 7x pairs to the Tech-Air app where riders can review battery information, ride time, charge status, and the number of inflations available.

Sizes range from XS to XXL and the unit is available now from Alpinestars or other recognized Alpinestars dealers.
